On August 4, 2010 ESTHFH lost a very special volunteer, Jim Freeman. Jim traveled with the All Saints Episcopal Team from Pheonix, AZ to assist our affiliate in Hurricane Katrina recovery building but brought so much more than just his volunteer labor. His joyful personality and fun humor made the worksite an exciting place to be. We are so grateful for his gifts of time, talent, and love that helped us to restore our home. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones in Arizona.

To honor Jim's memory and acknowledge his enduring commitment to education, the family has established the James Rush Freeman III Fund at the Arizona Community Foundation to provide enriching educational opportunities for at risk youth.
