Are you a "seasoned" Habitat volunteer or do you have some expert skills you want to share with us? Let us know before you arrive to volunteer, this way our staff can be better prepared and use you to your full potential.

(We cannot promise any specific type of work while you are with us volunteering as the construction schedule is constantly evolving based on each weeks productivity. However please let us know so that if able we can accommodate.)

Out-of-Town Volunteers

Many of our volunteers come from across the country and the world. Slidell, Louisiana and the entire Gulf Coast would not be where it is today without the help of these amazing individuals who have given so much and traveled so far to work in our community. For more detailed information please see "What to Expect" for Out-of Town volunteers The team leader/ trip organizer needs to contact the volunteer coordinator to begin the planning process and gain more logistical information about what is available to you during your time in Slidell.

Local Community Members Are Always Welcome!

We encourage you to come out and take pride in all that Slidell has accomplished. We would love to have you join us in what ever capacity you are able.

Please contact the volunteer coordinator with the answers to the following questions:

• What dates are you planning to volunteer?
• How many individuals are on your volunteer team? Individuals are always welcome too.
• Is there any special capacity in which you would like to volunteer (other than construction)?
• Expert skills and special interests are always welcome; such as construction, family services, clerical, hospitality, delivery...

Work At Restore

You should know that our ReStore is always in need of local volunteers. If you are not able/willing to work on a construction site this is an awesome alternative!

The Restore is located in Ole Town Slidell, on the corner of Robert and Cary in the old "Community Feed and Seed" building. Feel free to speak to the Manager at any time 985-649-0067
